Welcome back to Terminology Tuesday! Each Tuesday we will blog about some commonly misunderstood terms within the Fraternity. It’s our hope that you will take the time to read and then share this information with others.

Recommendations are requests for the Board of Directors to consider a particular action or actions. Recommendations are similar to resolutions, which require the Board to take action rather than suggest the Board take action.

Recommendations may be made to the Board of Directors at any time by any member or chapter in good standing or by majority vote of the Provincial Council.  Recommendations should be submitted using such format as may be described from time to time by the Board, which currently is this form which should be submitted to Central Office once completed.
