Life Membership Plan-1930

February 7, 2013

The Life Membership program legislation was passed by the 10th Grand Chapter Congress. It was a way to raise funds and off-set the costs of  national services for alumni. Alumni could pay $4 per year for alumni dues or $35 for a life membership. The program was discontinued in the mid 1990s; however the Fraternity continues to honor the benefits granted to all Life Members. Here is an article from the November 1930 issue of The DELTASIG that highlights the program’s start.
